Job Openings
COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE: An early-career PR aspirant with strong written and verbal communication skills to assist senior managers in executing PR programs for our firm’s clients.   As a key player in our company, your main job would to make sure our clients sleep well every night knowing their important project is in good hands. To do that, you’ll need excellent communication skills and instincts. You should be able to sense PR opportunity as well as danger. You should know when to listen and when to give advice. You must have the courage and confidence to tell it like it is and not be afraid to take calculated risks. We’re communication experts, strategists and seasoned counselors, not short order cooks. Because you’re good, you’ll earn respect inside and outside the company.   Since we execute complex, multi-disciplinary PR and public affairs programs, you’ll need a proven organization and project management system to ensure that your team delivers the various elements of a project on time, on spec and on budget. You should strive to be the best because that’s what our clients and our firm deserve. Your integrity should be high and your tolerance for substandard work low. You should be able to set clear, measurable goals and know when you’ve met them. You should value strong personal relationships and commit to developing these with your team and your clients.   On a personal level, it’s also important for you to know that while we don’t care what political party you belong to (or even if you belong to one at all) we typically serve the business community in matters of public policy so a strong pro-business philosophy is a must. Finally, you should also be comfortable in a “work hard/play hard” culture. We’re dead serious about our work, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously.
