PORTLAND, OR – Hubbell Communications, Oregon’s premier public affairs and public relations firm, has hired Jennifer Sitton, Clinton Harper and Lindsey Hendren as account coordinators.

Sitton previously worked for Congressman Greg Walden in Washington, D.C., and brings to Hubbell a wealth of knowledge on many issues faced by Oregonians as well as the inner workings of Capitol Hill. A seventh generation Oregonian, she has a bachelor’s degree with a dual major in government and history from Claremont McKenna College, where she wrote her senior thesis about forestry regulation and the division between urban and rural Oregon. Sitton has worked in public affairs in Portland in addition to having experience at the national level.

Harper’s professional experience includes working as a community organizer, a nonprofit outreach coordinator and a sales representative. A former Seattleite, he recently returned to the Pacific Northwest after a four-year stint in Wyoming. After working in student media, serving as an elected official in student government and finishing up his graduate studies, he developed a strong interest in pursuing a career in public relations. Harper earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Washington and a master’s degree in international studies from the University of Wyoming.

Hendren recently graduated with a master’s degree from University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Policy and Governance, specializing in environmental and natural resources. She is excited to be back in her native Portland and brings to the firm a wealth of experience, including a year with Washington’s carbon tax campaign as the communications coordinator. Hendren also has experience working with local government, having worked with the City of Seattle’s Department of Transportation.

Hubbell Communications President Ward Hubbell said all three new account coordinators will be integral to the firm’s continued success.

“Sitton’s background and connections in Oregon politics and Harper’s roots in community organizing and outreach are exactly the strategic additions our firm needed,” Hubbell said. “We are also very excited to add Hendren’s campaign experience and will continue to expand and deliver the exceptional services that our clients expect each and every day.”
