Jennifer Sitton, Account Executive
At Hubbell Communications: The consummate multi-tasker, Jennifer manages and works on client projects in various capacities. From grassroots organizing and coalition-building, to crisis communications and media relations, Jennifer uses her skills to contribute to all aspects of client work and marketing for the team.
Background: A seventh-generation Oregonian who is passionate about issues affecting her home state, Jennifer most recently worked for Congressman Greg Walden in Washington, D.C. During her time with Rep. Walden, Jennifer flexed her organizational muscle by serving as his executive assistant, managing all day-to-day operations and interactions between staff, constituents, visitors, and the Congressman, while gaining a wide breadth of knowledge on the many issues affecting Oregonians. Jennifer also has prior experience working in public affairs at the state and federal level. Jennifer graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a dual degree in government and history, where she wrote her senior thesis on the topic of federal forestry regulations and urban-rural division in Oregon.
After Hours: Having grown up in a basketball family, Jennifer enjoys watching Blazer and Beaver basketball games, when she can find the time. If she’s not at a sporting event, you can probably find her at a country music concert, training for her next half marathon, visiting Oregon's wine country, or traveling to visit family and friends in all corners of the country. Jennifer also serves on multiple nonprofit boards in the Portland area, including the Oregon Historical Society's Cabinet and the Board of Directors for Active Children Portland.
