WE’RE NOT JUST A PUBLIC AFFAIRS FIRM

We transform how communities think about energy, climate, and the way we use our increasingly limited land resources.

Land use planning is a critical challenge that shapes the sustainable growth of communities. The development of new energy, housing, and digital infrastructure assets requires an intentional balance between the needs of society, the economy, and the environment.

Effective land use planning ensures resources are allocated efficiently, infrastructure is developed strategically, and urban spaces are designed to promote economic vitality, environmental preservation, and social equity.

JP NEWMANN

Our work is focused on public affairs and community engagement in highly regulated industries with complex land use needs.

ENERGY - We help utilities, investors, and regulators build clean energy solutions, grid infrastructure, and connectivity projects that modernize how we power our communities – from renewable energy siting and development to the acceleration of emerging clean technology.

DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURE - We help tech companies build the next generation of AI-driven tools by working with developers to expand our ability to access data and drive a digital economy.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT - We help build the infrastructure that keeps people and products connected across communities and around the world – including our future of business districts, airports, marine terminals, and logistics hubs that power local businesses.

NATURAL RESOURCES - Managing resources like water, air, and forests is vital to maintaining a sustainable built environment. We help communities protect natural habitats while promoting recreational spaces and sustainable land use practices.

URBAN PLANNING - We support smart growth strategies that combat housing shortages while balancing environmental protections. Whether it’s redeveloping mixed-use spaces, expanding urban campuses, or planning rural communities, we guide projects from concept to completion.

We believe growth is an essential part of smart, intentional land use development.

Building is about meeting the community’s near-term needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own.
