In 2021, the company hired Hubbell to help with communications around their plans for a significant site development project in Eastern Washington. This proposed site was aimed at expanding its presence in the region and tapping into the area's abundant wind resources – and proximity to existing transmission infrastructure.

The development project involved the construction of a state-of-the-art wind farm featuring Vestas' cutting-edge wind turbine technology. These turbines are designed to maximize energy production efficiency while minimizing environmental impact, aligning with Vestas' commitment to sustainability and conservation.

Hubbell helped the company develop messaging, campaigns, and community outreach programs that promoted the numerous economic opportunities for the region, including job creation during the construction phase and ongoing employment opportunities for local residents in wind turbine maintenance and operations.

Additionally, the project will contribute to Washington's clean energy goals, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and accelerate the transition to a more sustainable energy future. We worked with the Vestas team to showcase their commitment to engaging with local communities throughout the development process, seeking input from stakeholders and addressing any potential concerns related to noise, visual impact, or wildlife conservation.
